Russian shelling killed four people in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, regional governor Oleg Synegubov said on Telegram on Thursday. 

"According to preliminary information, seven people were injured. Unfortunately, four were killed," he said while asking residents of Kharkiv and surrounding areas to take shelter. 

He did not elaborate on where the strikes hit or other details.
