10 militants killed in Indian-controlled Kashmir gunfights

Police in restive Indian-controlled Kashmir said on Friday that they killed 10 militants in the region during a recent three-day span.
The militants were killed in four separate gunfights, according to the police.
"Ten militants were killed in three days in different gunfights in the region," a senior police official said.
