All communities in Beijing have been cleared of COVID-19 transmissions, health officials told a press conference on Saturday. The capital city has reported a drop in daily infections for six consecutive days and new cases on Saturday are linked to quarantined or isolation areas. The officials also stated that Beijing will ease curbs in some low-risk areas on Sunday to allow a return to normal life.
