The army of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) claimed to have killed seven Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) fighters and captured another in reaction to the attack this Saturday morning, local media Actualite reported, citing military spokesperson.

Local civil society has counted 21 civilians killed as well as four people seriously injured allegedly by ADF during an attack, which occurred this Saturday morning in the country's North Kivu province, according to the report.
