A Tara Air passenger plane carrying 19 passengers from Pokhara to Jomsom and three crew lost contact with airport authorities in Nepal at 9:55 a.m. local time on May 29. The plane was carrying 13 Nepalis, four Indians, two Germans and three crew members. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) said a Nepal Army chopper has landed at a suspected crash site in Mustang based on tracking of captain's cell phone, according to Nepal's news portal My Republica.
