00:56

A Long March-5B Y3 carrier rocket, which will be used to launch the Wentian lab module of the Chinese space station, has arrived at its launch site in south China's Hainan Province. The rocket will then enter the final on-site assembly and testing stage with the Wentian lab module, which arrived at the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site a day earlier on May 29. Preparation work for all systems involved in the launch mission is currently underway.

This year, China will complete the in-orbit construction of its space station. Six launch missions have been planned, including the launch of two lab modules, Mengtian and Wentian; two cargo spacecraft, Tianzhou-4 and Tianzhou-5; and two crewed missions, Shenzhou-14 and Shenzhou-15.
