Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who is under investigation for possible treason in Ukraine, has been allowed to leave the country via a border crossing with Poland to attend a political meeting, local media outlet Ukrainian Pravda reported on Monday.
Poroshenko was quoted as saying that he is going to attend the summit of the European People's Party in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
