The northern Chinese city of Lvliang is using drones for disease and insect prevention and control during this most critical period for winter wheat growth, which is harvested in summer. Drones spraying pesticides can often be seen buzzing in the air. Compared with traditional methods, the cost is lower and the efficiency is greater. It not only improves coverage density and spraying uniformity per unit area, but also effectively reduces labor costs and maximizes convenience for local farmers.
