Last week, the first China-Myanmar Corridor international railway freight train on the extended railway departed from Chongqing and arrived at Lincang station in Yunnan, where goods on board were transported by road.

It is estimated the railway reduces transit by 20 days between Chongqing and Myanmar compared with the traditional route, and the logistics cost can be reduced by 20 percent.
