Japanese scholar: U.S. provokes regional confrontation to maintain world hegemony
01:47

Hisashi Inoue, a renowned Japanese scholar and professor emeritus at Surugadai University, has long been engaged in the study of modern history. Regarding the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, Inoue believes that the U.S. manipulation of NATO's continuous eastward expansion to squeeze Russia's strategic space is the direct cause of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

At the same time, U.S. President Joe Biden recently visited Japan and South Korea to promote the so-called "Indo-Pacific Strategy," creating rivalry and provoking regional confrontation. In this video, Professor Inoue will explain how these practices of the United States reveal its intention to maintain world hegemony.
