Shanghai reports 9 new confirmed local COVID-19 cases

Shanghai registered 9 locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases and 22 asymptomatic infections on Monday, local authorities said on Tuesday morning.
So far, Shanghai has logged a total of 57,995 confirmed local cases and 588 deaths since February 26.
1,309 people remain hospitalized.
