Hu Dingguo, 78, has created 128 meters of miniature landscapes in eight years. The first one he made was the stone archway in his late wife's hometown in Longchang County, southwest China's Sichuan Province. Hu's wife liked his first miniature and hoped that he would create more places from the outside world. To keep his promise, he makes miniatures from photos he takes of the beautiful Chinese landscapes that he sees on TV.
