Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited the South Pacific island nation Fiji on May 30. China and Fiji have established diplomatic ties since the mid-1970s. Since establishing diplomatic ties, the two countries have conducted frequent exchanges in economy, culture, science and technology, education and other fields.
