Poll shows lowest public confidence in U.S. economy since 2009

A new poll has indicated that public confidence in the U.S. economy is at its lowest since the end of the Great Recession in early 2009. Of more than 1,000 adults from the 50 states surveyed by Gallup, 77 percent perceived the economy as getting worse.
