China's Peak Mission expedition on Mount Qomolangma has achieved its main tasks and set several new world records at the top of the world. The expedition is China's second comprehensive scientific expedition on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau since 2017. The landmark expedition covered the most disciplines, involved the most scientists, and utilized the most advanced equipment. The expedition established the world's highest automated meteorological station at an altitude of 8,830 meters above sea level and built a gradient network that conducts real-time data transmission at the summit for the first time.
