Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the longer-range weapons are only for use in Ukraine and not to attack Russia on its land.

"We're not interested in what's happening in Russia. We're only interested in our own territory in Ukraine. We want to de-block our cities," Zelenskyy said in an interview with the U.S. Newsmax TV channel on Tuesday.

"We're not ready to concede any of our territories, because our territories are our territories: It's our independence, our sovereignty; that's the issue," he added.
