Less than two months after the successful return of the record-breaking Shenzhou-13 mission, China is set to launch Shenzhou-14 on Sunday. A Long March 2-F carrier rocket will send a fresh crew of three taikonauts aboard the Shenzhou-14 to the China Space Station.
The commander of Shenzhou-14 is 43-year-old Chen Dong, who made his debut in space in 2016 on Shenzhou-11. The two other crew members are 43-year-old Liu Yang, who made history as China's first woman in space in 2012 on Shenzhou-9, and Cai Xuzhe, who is embarking on his maiden space voyage.
