Glamping, or glamorous camping, is gaining popularity in China. The pandemic has built up pent-up demand for tourism, and camping in the city's outskirts for one or two days has become a choice for urban residents to get away.

According to a report by iiMedia Research, more than 72.3 percent of consumers in China want camping sites equipped with toilets and showers, and more than half want services such as catering, water supply and garbage disposal. 2020 is considered the "first year of camping" in China. In addition to infrastructure construction in camping sites, cultivating camping culture is a way for owners to sustain their development.
