U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman has met with South Korean Vice Foreign Minister Cho Hyun-dong in Seoul. Yonhap news agency reports they discussed the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and pending alliance issues. Sherman's visit to Seoul is part of a four-nation trip that will also take her to Laos, Vietnam and the Philippines.
