Chinese FM meets with his counterparts of five Central Asian countries

China and five Central Asian countries agreed on a mechanism for dialogue among their leaders in a meeting of the region's top diplomats and visiting Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Kazakhstan. This year, China marks three decades of diplomatic ties with Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Wang said it's a major task for all sides to advance relations in a chaotic and changing world. The foreign ministers reached a 10-point consensus in their talks that included boosting cooperation in finance, security and green development.
