The reluctance of the United States to invite Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua to the summit has been met protests throughout the Americas. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro commended other countries in the region for their solidarity and experts think that more than 25 governments of the continent have expressed their protest and their demand that all the governments and countries of the continent be invited. The Summit of the Americas reveals a US on its own, without an agenda, without principles, without a work table and the old-fashioned model of imposition and arrogance.
