Turkey is ready to clear a path for Ukrainian grain, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Wednesday after concluding a "fruitful" meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
There may again be grounds for Russia-Ukraine negotiations, he said.
Cavusoglu also defended Russia's call to end sanctions to help the grain enter the world market, saying they are "legitimate."
"If we need to open up the international market to Ukrainian grain, we see the removal of obstacles standing in the way of Russia's exports as a legitimate demand," Cavusoglu told a joint press conference in Ankara.
Lavrov said Russia is ready to hold talks with the UN, Turkey and Ukraine on grain deliveries, adding that Russia's special military operation in Ukraine is going according to plan.
