China's first domestically made uncrewed naval vessel completed its first trial in the sea area of Zhoushan on June 7. The vessel has a displacement of about 200 tonnes and a maximum speed of more than 20 knots. It is capable of working under a level-5 sea state and sailing safely under a level-6 sea state. The uncrewed vessel project started in 2015 with the goal of developing a less noisy, highly intelligent and autonomous vessel.
