Since June, agricultural and sideline products in many parts of China have begun harvest season. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is an area with the largest export volume of goji berries in China. The harvest of fresh goji berries here begins in June each year and lasts about three months, ending at the end of August. Currently, fresh goji berries from Ningxia have entered peak sales season.
In Ningxia's Hongsibao District's ecological planting base, more than 1,000 people are working to harvest goji berries every day. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region's total planting area has reached about 430,000 mu (29,000 hectares).
