Japan's lower house rejected a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Thursday, Kyodo News reported.
The motion was submitted by the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan. The party has accused the cabinet of doing "nothing" in response to rising prices in the country, according to the report.
The House of Representatives also voted to reject another no-confidence motion against its speaker Hiroyuki Hosoda on Thursday.
