China CDC: We have the ability to carry out PCR detection for monkeypox

China says the current PCR test has been applied in the country for over 10 years, and most of the facilities and reagents have been localized. It now can detect not only the novel coronavirus but a total of 40 official infectious pathogens, including monkeypox.
