On June 11, China celebrated its Cultural and Natural Heritage Day by holding various exhibitions and performances in east China's Jiangsu Province. There were intangible cultural heritage markets where visitors could shop for exquisite handicrafts and attend festival activities. China has been celebrating cultural heritage day on the second Saturday of June since 2006. In 2017, it was renamed Cultural and Natural Heritage Day.
