Hundreds of demonstrations took place in the U.S. on Saturday, all based on demands for stricter gun control. It follows a series of mass shootings that killed scores of people, including 21 at an elementary school in Texas. Robin Gurwitch, a clinical psychologist and a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University, says that young survivors of mass shootings need the support of caring adults.
