China has a goal to achieve "high-quality development" through technology and innovation. This has seen more factories in its northeastern manufacturing region adopt smart technology in their production process, as well as the expertise of industrial design professionals. A CGTN reporter went to two companies to find out about their efforts to upgrade industrial production.
