A naval aviation brigade under the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command conducted a live-fire attack drill by fighter-bombers at a maritime shooting range in the South China Sea to hone real-combat capacity.
A number of fighter-bombers loaded with ammunition took off in turns and rushed to the target airspace after completing a tactical formation in the air. To avoid anti-aircraft shelling, the formation quickly lowered altitude and carried out stealth penetration at ultra-low altitude at sea.
After arriving at the shooting range at sea, the pilots quickly lifted the altitude, established the attack course, and launched a certain type of rocket and aerial shells to dive and attack the floating target.
