Biden to travel to the Middle East in July: White House

U.S. President Joe Biden will visit the Middle East July 13-16, including Israel, the West Bank and Saudi Arabia, the White House said in a statement on Tuesday.

The White House said Biden will visit Israel on the first leg and then visit the West Bank to consult with the Palestinian Authority.

Biden will then travel to Saudi Arabia, where the president attends a summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Expanding regional economic and security cooperation and ensuring global energy and food security will be on Biden's agenda during his trip to Saudi Arabia.

Biden will meet Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman July 15-16, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.
