Severe storm hits Chicago, tornado warning issued

On June 13, a severe storm hit Chicago in the U.S., prompting sirens to alert residents throughout the metropolitan area. The National Weather Service's radar indicated the presence of a tornado in the area and warned of two-inch hailstones. O'Hare Airport asked passengers to move to designated shelter-in-place areas, as strong winds were recorded gusting up to 84 mph (135 km/h).
