An artillery detachment of the People's Liberation Army has conducted a live-fire shooting drill to sharpen their combat capability.

The Southern Theater Command Ground Force traveled more than 3,500 kilometers spanning six provinces in China, from the hinterland of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to northwest China's Gobi Desert.

Soldiers can integrate with the environment by changing the shape and shadow of the equipment to improve survivability on the battlefield.

The aim may be poor due to poor visibility and wind direction at night, so soldiers manually aim preliminarily instead.
