Dr. Anthony Fauci, leader of the U.S. government’s COVID-19 pandemic response efforts, has tested positive for COVID-19. Fauci, 81, who is fully vaccinated and has received two booster shots, is experiencing mild COVID-19 symptoms, according to a statement from National Institutes of Health on June 15. "Dr. Fauci will isolate and continue to work from home," the statement said.
