Turkey says it was waiting for a "written response" from Sweden and Finland to Ankara's objections to their NATO bids. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Wednesday that Turkey's expectations were not met by documents from Sweden. Earlier, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg had said the alliance is working hard to resolve legitimate issues raised by Turkey and Sweden and Finland’s membership bids could be stalled further.
