Seven local COVID-19 infections were reported in Beijing from 0:00 to 15:00 on Friday, said Liu Xiaofeng, deputy director of the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

All the new cases were found among people who were already under group quarantine. 

The current situation regarding the bar-linked outbreak in Beijing, which has seen 366 infections since last Thursday, is stabilizing but uncertainties remain, said Xu Hejian, a spokesperson for the Beijing Municipal Government at a press conference. 

He said epidemic-affected industries, public areas and districts should return to normalcy in an orderly manner.
