Campus recruitment activities can be organized, if the city where the university is located has no new community transmission cases for seven consecutive days or more, said Liu Peixun, deputy director from the Department of Physical Education, Health and Art Education of the Ministry of Education during the press conference of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council on Friday. 

Officials from the Ministry of Education and National Health Commission of China attended the conference, and answered questions about the employment of college graduates and their return to their hometowns during the summer vacation.

"At present, the overall situation of the epidemic in China has shown a positive trend, and important progress has been made in epidemic prevention and control across the country, laying a better foundation for more universities to organize campus recruitment activities," according to Liu Peixun on the press conference.

As the graduation season and employment season approach this year, the national policy guidance on campus recruitment activities is very clear, Liu added, "On the basis of epidemic prevention and control, the policy aims to guarantee campus recruitment and promote a higher quality and fuller employment for college graduates."
