One killed in church attack in U.S. state of Alabama: police

Three people were shot at an Alabama church in the Birmingham suburb of Vestavia Hills. One of those people died, the other two people are being treated at a local hospital.
The suspected shooter is in custody, and there is no further threat to the public.
