One firefighter has died after being trapped in a building that caught fire in Philadelphia in the United States and then collapsed early Saturday, fire officials said, according to the NBC10 Philadelphia TV channel.

Four other firefighters and a Licensing and Inspections Department inspector had been rescued from the rubble. Deputy Fire Commissioner Craig Murphy said they were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
