Western Europe is bracing for blistering heatwaves. Temperatures of more than 40 degrees Celsius have been recorded in parts of Spain. In the U.S., more than 100 million Americans have been advised to stay indoors if possible. The Horn of Africa is also experiencing a devastating drought.
