China will host the 14th BRICS Summit, comprising of the five major emerging economies Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. China has cooperated with other BRICS member states over the past five years, such as promoting the concept of the "BRICS Plus" and investing for a BRICS economic and technological cooperation.
