The World Trade Organization (WTO) has agreed to a deal on patents for COVID-19 vaccines in developing countries at its recently concluded 12th 12th Ministerial Conference. Zhang Xiangchen, WTO Deputy Director-General told Tian Wei how the agreement could benefit countries with manufacturing capacities in Africa.
