The UN Security Council held an open meeting on the humanitarian situation in Syria on Monday. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and other officials attended the meeting and discussed cross-border humanitarian assistance. The permanent representative of China to the United Nations Zhang Jun said that China urges relevant countries to immediately and comprehensively lift unilateral sanctions against Syria.
