Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will attend a UN conference on nuclear nonproliferation in New York in August, according to Kyodo News.
Kishida would be the first Japanese leader to attend the review conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, the report said.
