Spain, France and other western European nations are experiencing a blistering heatwave, with some wildfires still blazing in northern Spain. Authorities say an alarming fire in the northwestern Sierra de Culebra mountain range has destroyed more than 25,000 hectares of land. Parts of Spain have witnessed temperatures of more than 40 degrees Celsius in the past week.
