President Xi gave a speech at the BRICS Business Forum Wednesday night. He pointed out that global development process has hit major roadblocks. He reiterated the Global Development Initiative, which he put forward in 2021, to address global threats and challenges. Su Xiaohui, Associate Research Fellow at the China Institute of International Studies in Beijing, said that China has proposed an idea of inclusiveness, also a dynamic for sustainable development, which is the theme of the forum and cooperation in the future.
