U.S. Fed Chair: Central bank remains committed to getting inflation down

Jerome Powell, head of the U.S. Federal Reserve, has acknowledged the possibility of a recession from recent interest rate hikes. He told lawmakers on Wednesday that recession isn't the intended outcome, but it's certainly a possibility. He also affirmed the central bank's commitment to bringing inflation down at the Senate hearing. CGTN's Owen Fairclough has more from Washington, D.C.
