Chinese President Xi Jinping called for BRICS countries to foster high-quality partnership and usher in a new era of global development and put forward four propositions.
The summit, titled "Foster High-quality Partnership, Usher in a New Era of Global Development," comes as the world faces the continued spread of COVID-19, a tortuous world economic recovery and increasingly salient peace and security issues.
