One person was killed and 31 injured after a magnitude-5.6 earthquake struck Iran's southern Gulf waters at a depth of 22km early Saturday morning, Tasnim News Agency reported.
Officials told Iranian state TV that there had been some 100 quakes and aftershocks over the past 10 days in the same region.
