NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said that he had discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the application of Finland and Sweden for membership into the alliance, as negotiations will continue next week.
"Good call with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of our valued ally Turkey to discuss Finland and Sweden's NATO applications. We agreed to continue the talks in Brussels and Madrid next week," Stoltenberg posted on his official Twitter account.
